Construction: Microfiber Wholesale's 18” Premium Microfiber Wet Mop Pad is our top of the line microfiber wet mop pad. The lint free mop pad is constructed from looped polyester / polyamide blend microfiber yarn and looped polyester. The looped polyester is added to help the mop glide across the floor; too much microfiber would make it next to impossible to push across the floor. The face yarn wraps around the edges of the mop pad and is sewn to a hook and loop style backing. Between the microfiber face yarn and the hook and loop style backing is a thick foam core. The purpose of the foam core is to help the microfiber mop pad keep its shape throughout the life of the pad and to store liquids (water, disinfectant, cleaner) which will help emulsify dust, dirt and grease for effective cleaning.

Uses: 18” Premium Microfiber Wet Mop Pads are great for cleaning any hard surface floors. The wrap around construction of the microfiber face yarn increases the cleaning ability of the mop by making it a 3 dimensional cleaning pad. The edges of the microfiber mop pad are usable cleaning surfaces, which means while you’re mopping the floor you can take the mop all the way to the base boards and force the mop into the corner effectively cleaning the edge of the floor and the bottom of the baseboard. The face yarn on the premium microfiber wet mops is denser and more plush, which adds to their capacity to hold both liquid and soil. The 18” version of the mop is well suited for cleaning in areas with furniture and equipment, such as hospital patient rooms, classrooms, restrooms, etc. The liquid capacity of our premium microfiber mop pads make them ideal for healthcare applications where disinfecting is a priority. The density of the yarn and microscopic size of individual fibers allow the pad to reach into the depressions and tiny crevices on the floor surface and remove over 99% of the bacteria present. These are mop pad replacements for our 18" Professional Microfiber Mop System. Use them with our 18" Angle Microfiber Mop Frame or our18" Heavy Duty Microfiber Mop Frame.

Method: Our 18” Premium Microfiber Wet Mop Pads work great with just warm water but, for certain applications you may want to use the mop pad with chemical cleaners or disinfectants. Depending on the size of the job and the amount of mop pads you intend to use, you can simply wet the mop pad in the sink, or you may need to use a mop bucket. You want the wet mop pad damp, not a dripping, so wring it out. When mopping, work backwards through the room while moving the mop side to side, twist the handle to turn the mop, almost in a figure eight motion, so the same edge of the mop is always in front. This will prevent dust and dirt from being left behind.
